TÊTE-À-TÊTE WITH AN ART BLOGGER

Whether it’s Art, Architecture, Design or the history behind it… Prerna Kevalramani delights in it all through her love for storytelling. She studied Textile Designing and designed carpets for Shyam Ahuja and then pursued painting & exhibiting her work at various solo and group shows in India & overseas.

Four years ago she started an art history blog, ’The ArtHopper’, to share the things she cherishes - art, history and travel. She believes that India’s beautiful and irreplaceable monuments need conscious conservation efforts. Her popular blog regularly brings you slices of Indian culture in a simple & easy to understand language, without becoming a boring history lesson. Prerna also writes articles for various magazines on related subjects. Through her work, she hopes to raise awareness, especially with the younger generation, about our rich culture and historical heritage.

Today, Prerna will walk us through the Journey of Indian Modern Art over the last 150 years and its transition from the traditional narrative or religious style to the fabulous heights it has reached on the World Contemporary Art platform.

So hop on to the opportunity to hear the Art Blogger in person.
