DAY 1: 27 JANUARY 2105 (TUESDAY)

ARRIVE AT MUMBAI AIRPORT. BOARD FLIGHT MUMBAI TO MUSCAT BY

WY202 (OMAN AIR) DEP 0640 HRS/ARR 0825 HRS.

OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL IN MUSCAT

0825 Hrs:- Arrive at Muscat International Airport. You will be met before immigration by our representative who will assist in completing the immigration , baggage and customs formalities.

Transfer from Muscat International Airport to hotel En route visit Grand Mosque with an Omani Scholar Talk and Amouage Perfume factory.

 Transfer to hotel.   Proceed for lunch and check in. Leisure time.

4.00 pm: Dhow Cruise –Pass through Old Muscat

Evening Experience what traditional Omani clothes have to say to you!!

Enjoy the Sunset and return to the Marina.  Dinner at Kargeen Restaurant.

OVERNIGHT AT INTERCONTINENTAL (L & D)

DAY 2:  28 JANUARY 2015 (WEDNESDAY)

After early breakfast, proceed for a dolphin watching excursion .Return to hotel . Check out and leave for Nizwa enroute Snake Canyon Wadi Bani Auf, visit Nizwa Fort + Souq, Al hamra + Misfah Drive through the spectacular Wadi Bani Auf.. Visit the charming mountain village ofBilad Sayt , pass by the date plantation village of Al Hamra . Arrive at Nizwa, capital of the interior, the birthplace of Islam in the Sultanate of Oman. Shop at its Souq, renowned for intricately hand carved “khanjars”( daggers) and ornamental silver jewellery.

Lunch at local restaurant en route.

Arrive at hotel “The View” and check in.

DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL THE VIEW (B,L & D)

Day 3: 29 JANUARY 2015 (THURSDAY)

After breakfast. Check out  & drive to Desert Camp ,enroute visiting the Grand Canyon .Head for Jebel Shams and pass by the village of Wadi Ghul with its stone dwellings. Spot the local weavers selling their goat hair rugs .Enjoy the spectacular view from Jebel Shams with a vertical drop of 1000 meters to the wadi below.

Enroute Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch depart for Wahiba Sands. The ever-changing patterns of the dunes and the variety of flora and fauna are a photographer’s delight.

 Arrive and check in at Camp

Visit a Bedouin house in this wilderness + Sand Dune bashing

DINNER & OVERNIGHT: DESERT NIGHTS CAMP (B, L & D)

DAY 4: 30 JANUARY 2015 (FRIDAY)

After breakfast, depart for Ras Al Jinz . Enroute visit the fish jetty and dhow factory.

Lunch in Sur.  Arrive Ras Al Jinz and check in (Ras al Jinz Scientific and visitor centre).

Buffet dinner at Ras Al Jinz.

2030 Hrs, After dinner join a guardian who will accompany you and others on to the beach after an introduction to the Turtle Sanctuary.

DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT RAS AL JINZ (B, L & D)

DAY 5: 31 JANUARY 2015 (SATURDAY)

Early morning (4.00 am) optional visit to Turtle sanctuary.

Breakfast at hotel  .Check out  and drive to Muscat enroute a photostop at the ruins of Bibi Miriam’s Tomb. Stop at Fins beach for a swim. Visit  Bimah Sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue green water at the bottom. Enroute also visit Quriyat. On arrival in Muscat, see the Muscat Opera House from the outside

Lunch at Cave restaurant. After lunch, depart to hotel and check in

Afternoon :Time for Shopping at Muttrah Souq, Lulu Mall and other Malls.

Evening dinner with Owner of Bait Al Adam This is an excellent opportunity to know about the exciting history of Oman

DAY 6: 01 FEBRUARY 2015 (SUNDAY)

0745 hrs: Check out and transfer to Muscat airport (B) to board your homeward bound flight.
