GET A GREEN THUMB
Imagine having a garden to call your own in Mumbai is as unimaginable as finding pure air in Delhi. Consider the space saving TERRARIUM, a miniature garden encased in an aquarium like glass globe which is fast becoming popular for home decor and as a gift.
Today we will be meeting Priyanka Kumari, founder of Green Hope who has mastered food gardening and composting in balcony, terraces and flower beds. Green Hope is an organisation that aims to minimise and segregate waste by conducting sessions on gardening, composting and the like.
Priyanka will be taking us through a step by step process on making a terrarium. She will be discussing on the type of plants which can grow in it, typically ones which are suitable for a warm and humid climate without needing to be watered frequently and also ones which can grow under artificial light. She will also be giving tips on maintaining such terrariums. Such plants provide more oxygen to the environment and can be used as decorative items, since they look like mini gardens with their own little world. Green Hope believes in, ”The joy of reconnecting with nature”.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn to create your own terrarium if you want to add a touch of nature in the confines of your home and discover your green thumb.
