DECOUPAGE
Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by gluing colored paper cutouts onto it in combination with special paint effects, gold leaf and other decorative elements.
Chandan Dubey, a Mumbai based photographer and artist, is the last word when it comes to restoring artifacts. With the use of a number of technics like hand painting, upholstery, surface transfer, decoupage, hand lamination, fabric lining etc this art wiz is able to transform ordinary looking objects into something extraordinary.
Using materials like old photographs, letters, jewelry, fabric, maps, books, artworks, Mrs Chandan Dubey will take you through the process of how this technic really works. Through this process, rundown, old pieces of furniture and unwanted items like boxes can be used to create interesting visual patchwork and various forms of art.
